I love ice cream, but had to give it up when I learned that I couldn’t eat sugar. That is until I developed a recipe for sugar free ice cream!  This recipe can be tweaked for different flavors. I did mint chocolate chip because that’s my favorite. 😊

Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Whole Milk

3/4 cups Zylitol

1 1/12 cups Heavy Cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon Creme de Menthe

1/4 teaspoon salt

 

Instructions:

  1. Combine Zylitol and whole milk, stirring until completely dissolved.  If needed, warm milk to help dissolve zylitol.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring until thoroughly combined.
  3. Chill in refrigerator for 3-8 hours, covered.
  4. Place in an ice cream maker, following manufacturers recommended operation.
  5. Freeze for 8-12 hours.
  6. Enjoy!
