I’ve been walking around work and keep running into those signs for Girl Scout cookies. Yup!  It’s that time of year. Girl Scout Cookie time!!  Who doesn’t love a good Thin Mint?  Have you ever tried putting them in the freezer?  They stay fresh all year long so you can feed your Girl Scout Cookie addiction even outside of the annual selling spree.

As delicious as these cookies are, have you noticed that there aren’t a lot of options for us gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, etc folks?  That’s why I have compiled a list of copy cat Girl Scout Cookies. They all promise to be as good as the original. You won’t miss Girl Scout Cookie time when you can make them year round (and gluten free) at home!
Each of these cookies were developed by great gluten free sites. Be sure to click through to see the full recipe and give the creators a shout out!
1. Lemonades

These light weight cookies pack a big lemon flavor.  Try swapping Erythritol for the powdered sugar for a cookie that is sugar free as well as gluten free.

2. GF Tag-a-Longs

What goes better with peanut butter than chocolate?  These Tag-a-Long copycats are gluten free and can be made dairy free.  Can you say YUM??

3. Gluten Free Thin Mints

These copycat Thin Mints are not only gluten free, they are sugar free too!  Great for diabetics and mint enthusiast everywhere.

4. Sugar Free Tag-a-Longs

I couldn’t help myself.  I had to include a second Tag-a-Long.  This cookie is gluten free, egg free, low carb, and does not have any added sugar.  That’s a lot to put on one little cookie!  Be sure to enjoy with a tall glass of milk.

5. Trefoils

Trefoils are my all time Girl Scout Cookie.  They never make it long enough to be stored in the freezer.  This cookie is vegan and gluten free.  Brownie points (no pun intended) for the Girl Scout cookie cutter!

6. Do-Si-Dos

These homemade Do-Si-Dos are the pinnacle of a peanut cookies everywhere with a crunchy peanut butter cookie and creamy peanut buttery filling.
